Meet the Director!

My name is Rachel Conner, and I am thrilled to serve as Director during this new season.

My family and I recently relocated to Kearney, and returning to Sonshine World feels like coming home. My history here began at 16 years old when I worked in the classrooms through my high school years, and later as an adult, I had the joy of returning to work in the office alongside Shelly Rozean.

For over two decades, I’ve dedicated my career to serve as a Director of Children and Youth Ministry, building a strong foundation in both administrative leadership and ministry. I love Jesus and trust Him completely to guide our steps as we care for and educate your children. I look forward to combining my administrative background and lifelong dedication to early child development to support our dedicated staff, serve our families, and lead Sonshine World into a strong, vibrant future. I am excited to get to know each of your families personally as we build a loving, Christ-centered foundation for your little ones.
